I know this has been posted years and years ago but does anybody know the best way to go about making these on a Mac? I tried using Text/Edit on these yesterday and it was an absolute nightmare. I appreciate the help because this is a dynamite effect! I use the charts that came with Simply Simon but I need to add some color to them which is why I'm making new ones on the computer.

Maybe use the tables feature in Word? Just a wild suggestion.

Just wrote Simon about any PDFs of fate calendar being available. He answered no nor was the trick available as a separate purchase from his book. He makes the Birthday calendar available free on his website (unfortunately that link to the PDF was not working when I just checked ), but if you have Adobe Acrobat you might make copies to edit. Else, most people us Excel or its equivalent on Apple products. As you probably know the card pip symbols are available in the Symbols font.

Back in 2002, I made a set of index cards for myself for Simon Aronson's great routine Fate. I recently ran across this thread, and contacted Simon to see if it was alright to share my work with the Café members. I'm happy to announce that Simon has posted my PDF file of the index cards on his site. You can download the file here: http://magicians.simonaronson.com/Other_Magic.html
I designed the index cards with Adobe Illustrator with vector graphics, so the print quality is very high. I printed my set on card stock on a laser printer, and had them laminated with thick laminate at Kinkos (stationary store). The resulting quality looks very professional. (Also, the perfect wallet that I found is here: http://buxton.co/collections/mens-passpo...blocking -- it has all the requisite pockets with easy access.)
Please keep in mind that the PDF index cards do not explain or teach the routine. You will need to get his book 'Simply Simon' and read 'Fate' on page 249. If you have not tried this routine, you are missing out on some great experiences for your spectators.
Enjoy,
Nick
Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.

Thank you so much for these! These are very nice. I appreciate you providing a link to the perfect wallet too. This is a knockout effect. I currently use a BKM Wallet to hold my charts and the 12 'future playing cards' for Simon's Past Present Future. Does this wallet have enough room for playing cards as well?

Chado158,
The Buxton wallet very easily absorbs the 12 cards in addition to the index cards. (I just checked it physically.) In fact, the wallet can hold half a deck without really bulging too noticably.

Nicolino,
Are you referring to something in his latest book. I don't have a copy of that one yet.

These are awesome! Thank you for submitting this to Simon. I have gotten another set from another user (I will leave it to him to 'out' himself to the group), and his are in a somewhat different size and form factor. Both options are good, but like how yours are perfect wallet-sized. I also like the Buxton wallet you suggest and will look for it here in Canada.

O. k., here I am.. Made them years ago and they look like a piece of a journal which you have torn out of it and kept in your wallet. I printed them on 60 gram paper with a laser color printer and therefore they look and feel very real. I always fold them twice and they need very little space; easy to carry 12 of these in one small wallet. Jan

Actually, Jan, I was referring to someone else who has PM'd me regarding his version and I have passed on his name to those who've asked privately.
Your version sounds excellent indeed.

Drat. Buxton does not ship to Canada. Found this model on a certain auction site, but at a rather higher price plus very expensive shipping. Will look for it here in stores…
