May 26, 2017  Some other (older) options would be to use mmCM with an Internal HDD and put your PS2 ISO file in the dev_hdd0/PS2ISO folder if you have a backwards-compatible PS3 console, to use PS2 Classics Manager v1.02 by CaptainCPS-X to make a PKG and install it with a GUI (ps2classics_GUI_2.1.rar - 8.88 MB) by aldostools,. Now you need to download the RAP File to activate your PS2 Classics Placeholder so go to google and search 'rap file for PS2Classics'. Download the RAP File 9. Create a folder on the root of your USB Drive called exdata and Copy the rap file in to exdata folder 10. [GUIDE][PS3XPLOIT v3.0] How to install PSP/PS1/PS2 games

It seems that people are having issues to insert PS1/2/3/P games. I again made a brief guide to put you guys on the right track.

For more insight about the whole process, use the official thread on PSX-place: http://www.psx-place.com/threads/tutorial-convert-psx-ps2-psp-games-for-ps3xploit-3-0-han.16690/

You'll need the ps3tools, it is a pack of small softwares used for a lot of parts of this guide. Google it.

Rap File For Ps2classics

PS1 Classics (official psn releases): You need them in pkg format AND their respective .rap file. It's not that hard to find them.

PS1 injected games: It's cumbersome and I'm still having problems inserting a PS1 game converted from an .iso file. If someone has already managed to do that, please PM or quote this post.

PS2 Classics (official ps2 releases): -Finding the rap files for official releases it's easy, just google it. -sign act.dat, game's .rap file and the game's .pkg. Install them and you're ready to go. It works with games from other regions as well.

PS2 injected games: -You'll need the PS2 placeholder pkg AND the rap/rif file for this pkg. It can be found inside some instalation folder of the ps3tools. Google it. -Then you'll need to signed BOTH files and your original act.dat and install them. -Now, use the ps2 convertion tool (from ps3tools) to customize its icon and background image and generate a pkg from the game's iso. Just install it (no signing needed for the game's pkg) and it will run (with HAN enabled).

PSP Remasters: There's no official full PSP games released on the PS3, even though the console can run most games at some extend. Convert your psp .iso using the PSP2PS3 tool, patch the pkg and install on your console. As simple as it sounds.

PS3 official games: -Works only with games that are available on the psn store and have an update available (note: DLC DOESN'T COUNT AS A UPDATE!). -Sign act.dat, .rap file and game's .pkg and install it via LAN.

Ps2 Classic Placeholder Rap File

PS3 injected games: There's a way to do that, and it works with every game AFAIK. I'll try it with a smaller game (like Resident Evil 0) latter and will be back with the results.

EXTRA: Super Nintendo and Genesis emulators for PS2 are WORKING 100%. They need a special .iso patched by psx-place's guys. You'll just have to insert your game backups (rom files) into the specific folders of the iso file and convert it to pkg just like any other PS2 injected game. Don't forget to sign the pkg file before installing. SNES roms can be in zip format, compatibility is more or less ok, with some games running perfectly and others not. Minitab free download full version mac. If you have problems with the image, disable interlacing on the SNES Station's menu. Genesis roms on the other hand can't be zipped, and I 'd recommend separating files into sub-folders to avoid any problems. Other PS2 emulators (GBA, GBC, NES) are not working at this time, don't waste time trying to converting isos expecting to play Pokémon on your Superslim PS3.

If you get 80029567 error, enable 'Debug PKG' and see if it works.

Don't forget the necessary files for the HAN installed have been updated, so if you installed the exploit prior March 17th, just do the whole process again with the new files.
